Previously, we had Ferra KosmoLook @ Ferra KL by Erra Fazira, Ella : Beauty That Rocks The World by Ella, then Jerneh by Sheila Majid and now Dato' Siti Nurhaliza channeled risks through the launching of her own beauty product, SimplySiti. Plunking down RM1000.00 for a pot of face cream or cosmetic products or maybe to get an aura isn't in the realm of possibility for most women but Siti Nurhaliza wants all women to know that she do produce affordable products. I'm not sure about SimplySiti's price but I do know cosmetic products are costly because my sister had asked me to buy her a range of cosmetic products for her birthday if I'm not mistaken. Seriously, for something that's not gonna lasts, just temporarily masks your real face, the price is ridiculous. I'm not gonna pay for that. Ask me for something else.

I believe I'm not alone in being skeptical about the idea of Siti Nurhaliza is launching her own beauty line. Yes, she is our pop darling and had featured in a lot of beauty campaigns but doing business is not her thing, thus I salute her for taking the risk. She eyes the beauty market and hopefully 10 years from today, we still hear about SimplySiti. "It's used to be my secret, now it is yours", will she able to take SimplySiti to the international market? Based on reviews I read in the internet, most women bought this products because of Siti Nurhaliza. So, for international market, maybe she needs new business model. Focus on South East Asia region first, then maybe Middle East. Halal products kan? From time to time, she could invests more on R&D and improve the product quality. Marketing? Besides Watson and Jusco, NuffNang is not a bad business partner for SimplySiti.
